Subscription expired - Getting Key can no longer be used message

I have same problem.  I don't know how the trial version even got on my computer.  But it expired and now my subscription that is good until 9/2013 is completely gone.  I try to download it again and I get a message that the key can no longer be used.  I have only used it one time.  The chat in customer service is also not working for me.  All I get is a feedback question, but the actual chat never happens. Would appreciate any ideas...having hard time finding help.

Hello Diane,

You will need to uninstall the software and during the uninstall process it will ask if you plan to reinstall and want to keep the account information you will need to tell it no.  The reason for this is that the folder is holding the key for the trial version install not your correct version. To reinstall and verify the number of licensed installs available you will want to go to https://account.norton.com and login.  However you will need to contact Norton Customer Support for assistance with resetting your number of licensed installs.
