Norton "OK" and "Norton Secure" Icons Missing

After doing a Google search in IE 11, Windows 10, the usual green "OK" or "Norton Secure" icons don't appear.  If I do a Norton "Safe Search," I get the green circle with a check mark icon.   The problem manifests only on one PC; on a second PC, all is well.  All "Safe Surfing" options are toggled on in "Identity Safety."

Re: Norton "OK" and "Norton Secure" Icons Missing

Hello American Eagle

Please try and refresh the page. They should show up then. I think it's because Google is always making changes. You could also try toggling the Identity Safety Setting for the Annotations.

You could also try restarting the troublesome computer. There were Windows Updates this week which affected IE 11 in all Windows versions that are still supported. Sometimes more than 1 restart is necessary when it comes to updates no matter if Norton or Microsoft Updates.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

Re: Norton "OK" and "Norton Secure" Icons Missing

Hi, @floplot.

Did all you suggested with no change.  With all of the recent hot-fixing (BTW, Toolbar and IS working great), I figured that it was time to refresh Norton, so I did a NRnR.  Ran LU until there were no more updates, restarted and there was no change.  Still don't have Norton "OK" and "Norton Secure" Icons after doing a Google search.  As mentioned, if I do a Norton "Safe Search," I do get the green circle with a check mark icon.

This is not a big deal.  Not overly wrought about it.

Hi American Eagle.

Try this:

Open Google > lower right hand corner select Settings > then select Never show Instant results > Save
