latest live update patch scrambles desktop 1/3 icons missing
Ran live update today & the "patch" scrambled the desktop icons & about 1/3 were missing from visible screen.
Had to change resolution to drag them back on the normal screen.
Windiws 8.1 NIS 22.16.0.247
no label just PIA

Did you restart your computer after applying the patch? Although the announcement may say it is not necessary for Windows 8, many here find it advisable to restart at least 2 times after any major updates.

Yes, restarted a couple times. same thing
