Angry IP Scan issue

I'm getting constant Threats Detected / Action Required messages regarding registry changes by AngryIPScanner, Registry entry Angryziber on a Win 7 pc connected to a network (2 pc's plus nas).  I had added Angry IP scanner (ipscan.exe) to a Win XP pc on the network but uninstalled it when I started getting the Action Required messages on the Win 7 pc.

I have chosen the Fix and the Exclude options on the Norton Action Required screen but keep getting the messages.  My preference would be to resolve / remove the problem files, not exclude.   I'm unable to find any Angry IP files on the Win 7 pc.

Please see attached screen captures

AngryIPscanner > http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup

with 64bit executable > File name: ipscan-win64-3.4.exe > https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/a26411f870a108af946d0b0298a2af36b88a3de21af299e71211e6da101f8e41/analysis/

appears to require Java.....

Note that 32 or 64-bit refers to the version of Java that you have installed, not the operating system. Most Windows machines (even 64-bit) have 32-bit Java. Download the installer if you are unsure.

....maybe since you installed "ipscan", ...you'll need manual remediation....

Re: Angry IP Scan issue

Hello

I would go first with the free malware removal site and if they say the computer is clean, then report it as a false positive.

Thanks.
