Applying patches

Had an issue with a patch early this month, selected apply now but the main user interface started flashing on and off. Had to reboot PC to stop it. Another patch (maybe same patch?) appeared a couple of weeks later but would not apply. Not sure what is going on. Interface is 22.16.2.22 and 360 is up to date and set for automatic renewal. Do I have the patches, don't know?

Re: Applying patches

Hello stuart crandell

I would recommend that you turn off automatic renewal. N360 is an older Norton product now. If you use the backup feature of 360, then you can get Norton Security Premium which has the same backup feature as 360. It is good for computers, macs, tablets, iOS phones, Android phones. 10 device limit in the US. Norton has higher prices than most of the retail stores or the online sites. They are all downloads now and most places will send you to Norton to download the program.

There have been 2 patches recently. Although I have Windows 7, I always Apply patches later. That way I don't have to close up anything else that I may have open at the time. I just restart my computer.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.17.1.50 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

Re: Applying patches

Just run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until it says no updates are available. Then you will know you are up to date.

When you are offered a Patch, restarting your computer should always complete the patch for you. Although, some patches may need another run of LiveUpdate to fully update your product.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
