autofill error: enter a valid email address

Recently my N360 / Norton ID is resulting in a lot of "enter a valid email address" error messages when autofill tries to fill my log-in information. This is even though my correct email information is showing in the designated field for that particular site.  If I turn off autofill and enter the exact information manually (the info showing on the NID list of logins for that site), it is accepted and I can access my account.  Is there a solution for this issue?  It makes NID almost unusable and that is one of the reasons I stay with Norton. I use Windows 10 with Internet Explorer as my default browser.

Re: autofill error: enter a valid email address

Are you sure you are logged into your ID Safe vault? The 'enter a valid email address' could be trying to get you to sign into your Norton Account so you can access the vault.

Can you post a screenshot of the  'enter a valid email address' message?

Instructions to post screenshots can be found here

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: autofill error: enter a valid email address

Thanks for input.  I'm certain I am signed to Norton ID as it auto fills the information in the problem sites.  Not all sites do this, only certain ones.  Next time it happens, I'll revisit this thread and post a screenshot.  I'm trying to remember which sites exhibit this problem.  Clearly the autofill has put the correct information in the box, as email address isn't hidden in the autofill process,, but the message still pops up.  If I check the ID information it is correct, since I can manually fill the same information and the site will open.
