Backup Log is where and can it be viewed outside Norton product

Norton Backup shows errors when completed.  I backup a large amount of data in one backup set.  Would like to see what files were not backup and the Norton app opens a 'LOG' of the backup operation but you can not search this log.  Where is this information located at so I can search for 'failed'  or use another program to view this data as the Norton app is limited to what search or edit functions it provides.

Re: Backup Log is where and can it be viewed outside Norton product

@Jim:

What was the error code you met? Please try backing up your stuff again. Plz post the exact error msg here if your issue continues. Uh... you read the below exact line?

Backup has completed with errors (files could not be backed up). Norton Online Backup cannot back up one or more files as the file(s) are open.

If so...

Make sure that all your programs and files are closed before the backup starts. Some applications lock files even when they are minimized to the Notification area. These applications include (but are not limited to) instant messaging clients, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Outlook, and PDA or Smartphone syncing software.

You may also get this error if any of your shared files or folders that are selected for backup are in use. Make sure that any of your shared files or folders that are selected for backup, are not in use by any network users.

For details, I suggest that you read this troubleshooting page and/or watch this demo.

Please post back if this or any other comment solves your problem. THX...
