Backup FROM Network device

Running WIN10; my mass storage is on a NAS-Server, mapped as network drive. I want to back up these data to another NAS-Server, also mapped as a network device. I CAN select either driveas target; however, I CANNOT select either drive as source. The "from where"-screen doesn't even show these two network drives. Does anyone, please, know a solution? THx!

Re: Backup FROM Network device

1. Try to create a shortcut to a network location on desktop. 2. Add the same from 'what' section using 'include/exclude files/folder.

Re: Backup FROM Network device

The source drive has to be a local drive, a network drive can only be a destination.

Re: Backup FROM Network device

Gouys,

thx for the help.

@SunilYadav: doesn't work

@DaveH: Is there no workaround? I mean, we are at at nauseam told to put our data on a server, to not let them on our PC....

Now, doing this kicks me out of being able to back them up. I found some Free(!)ware claiming to be able to do that; would you know if there's something out that could back up one network drive to another?
