Backup scheduled Monthly, getting weekly warnings

I have backups scheduled monthly but I'm still getting warning messages that I haven't completed back ups recently. Very annoying to have to check the ! on my Norton icon only to find its not a meaningful alert. Is there a fix? Or is this one of those product "features" users don't need?

Have you always gotten that warning after setting up the monthly backup?

Try setting the backup schedule to Automatic, Save Settings and restart your computer. Then go back in and reset the schedule to Monthly and see if you still get these warnings.

Also, be sure the backup location is available.

Same problem here. Reset to monthly but previous schedule keeps sending reminders. Will try your fix.

I ran a fresh backup. Reset to Automatic, rebooted. Then reset to Monthly. I hope it works.

Keep an eye on things for a while to see if the warnings stop. Please post back with your findings.

well, that didn't work. Next scheduled backup is at end of month. just got that annoying time to back up message from the app. I'd appreciate any other ideas out there. It'd be nice to get something from Norton too. I'm sure they troll these pages
