Bank Login - Norton Isolate
This morning I used my browser to login to my bank accounts. During login process, Norton Security suddenly popped up and asked if I wanted special security for my bank access (called "Norton Isolate"). I clicked for "more information" but I only got a blank screen for my trouble. I did not accept anything related to this intrusion.
After that, Norton kept jumping into my bank login and interfering with my password manager (LastPass). Apparently it was looking for a different password than the one I put on my bank account (US Bank), which LastPass was trying to autofill. After several rounds of this, I recovered my machine-generated complex password from LastPass and I manually entered it in the bank login. That worked.
How do I disable this "Norton Isolate" feature? It is a royal pain in the neck, and as far as I can tell it offers me no benefits at all. If I can't disable this new "feature", I will seriously consider removing Norton Security and going to a competitor.
Windows 10 Pro with all updates. Norton Security version 220.127.116.11 .
