Blue Screen Windows

Good morning.

I am from Brazil, and I sincerely apologize if there are errors in my spelling. But I had to appeal to you because my problems continue to happen and no one gives me a solution.
I used another antivirus that until then had not given me problems. But after reading stories, about use and security using Norton Antivirus, I decided to change antivirus for greater security in Office files, tablets, mobile phones and so on. Well now the problem,.... well on the eve of holidays, I decided to install Norton that I had paid and could use it without any problems, my disappointment and frustation, I received the blue screen on my Windows 10 64.
I could not recover my files, lost everything saved, works of months, even years..... well.. Until then I thought it was a mistake on some Drive or hardware of my descktop, I had to format it, reinstall all system and programs that are several, because it is a Design company for garments and sports uniforms.  But until then Jmore had imagined it was because of the antivirus.. Well after everything reinstalled and working wonderfully well.... Until boom, same problem after reinstalling Norton Antivirus.
I really wish I could continue or rather say, try to use Norton. But now I'm afraid to install it and have again this problem, my descktop was formatted and reinstalled all the software for 4 times, until the fifth time did not installed Norton and today after 24 hours my system did not crash or giving the blue screen of death so Known.
I thank you all for the opportunity to have described or tried to describe my problem.

Re: Blue Screen Windows

Hello Epic. When you reinstall / reimage the desktop are you restoring it to a factory state as was when new? If so, does there appear any other brand of malware or antivirus software installed as a part of that recovery? If that is the care remove that software and reboot the system to clear it. Additionally, if you also have "fast startup" enabled it is suggested to disable it since it can cause issues with some software not getting a complete install due to data being retained in memory. The system doesn't get a clean restart for that reason. Here is how to disable that setting. Please ensure you reboot once its disabled.

If you again get another BSOD please take a screenshot of it and post it here for review. We can assist in determining the cause of the BSOD by seeing the stop code that it presents. Here is how to post images to the thread. Please let us know if any of these suggestions helped and your status.

Cheers

Re: Blue Screen Windows

When you restored your computer, did you use the factory restore that might have included a trial version of some anti virus software? If so, what was that anti virus software? If not Norton, it needs to be fully removed using the removal utility for that software.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Blue Screen Windows

Good Morning.
Firstly I would like to thank the attention and the response sent in a short time about the situation that was happening regarding the Norton anti virus, which after installing always gave me Blue screen in Windows.
I did not return before with the answer and diagnosis, because I was testing what was sent to me by email, and I leave here the copy of the same one sent in answer to my previous question.

So ... The problem was that when I installed Norton AntiVirus, I had changed the Boot for quick startup and some changes to the Windows 10 operating system.
After receiving this email emailed by Norton technicians and then following what was suggested and now after a few days of testing nothing wrong happened, my Anti Virus is working perfectly without harming any other Software.

My first language is Portuguese, so please excuse me if any placement of verbs is not correct. But I had to appeal to the help in US, because when I tried and sent the support here in Brazil regarding my problem I had no answers, very different from the Support of you who solved my problem in less time than I imagined.
Summarizing and again thanking everyone on the Norton anti virus for the attention and response in short time. Support 100% (
