Bringing back unsafe web warning

Hi, I just joined this community after having this problem:

I went to a phishing site and I got the warning saying that this is a potential phishing site and I clicked continue to site anyway, because I thought I was on a legitimate site, but now realizing I am wrong.  I have Firebox 26 and NIS 2014.  Now that I restart Firefox, it wont bring back that message, even though I want that message to come back.

Any thoughts to fix this problem?

Thanks, I appreciate the support!

Re: Bringing back unsafe web warning

Hi steveyyc and welcome!

Once you opt to click through to a blocked site, Norton Safe Web will not block anything within that domain for the remainder of your current Windows session. Restarting the browser will have no effect.

However, the next time you log into Windows, Norton Safe Web will again present the full page block for that site.

Try restarting your computer and you should see the page block when you return to the site in question.

Let us know how you do.

Re: Bringing back unsafe web warning

Thanks for you advice Phil_D!

I actually tried restarting my computer but it didnt work right away.  I logged in as someone else for a little while, restarted maybe an hour later and I finally managed to come to this solution.

I really like Norton and it is pretty easy and never really had a problem before, even though this probably is not a problem.

Thanks again!
