Can I use licence seat of family member's Norton licence?

Hello,

The title pretty much says it.  My Mother bought a 5 seat license for Norton Security, thinking that if any of her kids wanted to use it on their computer, they could.  No one has taken her up on her offer, but just recently I thought that I might like to give Norton another try (I previously used it 3-4 years ago).  She only uses one seat on the license.  However, I live in a different city than her, so I'm not sure of the legality of this potential arrangement.

Cutting to the chase:  Could I use a seat on my Mother's license, or would I need to get my own Norton Security licence?

Thanks for the help,

Bill

Yes you can share a family member's Norton subscription. You need your mother to go to her main Norton screen and click on More Norton. Then click on Add Device, then Show me how.  Have her send the email to you and then you open it on your computer to download and install a pre activated copy of her Norton product.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

You are welcome.

I have shared my subscription this way with my family members.
