Can't Sign In/Check Subscrition Status on Norton Security

Hi!

For a while now I have been unable to sign in/check subscription status on Norton Security. When I try I get "Cannot connect to the Norton Server - An unexpected browser error has occured."

I contacted Norton support and the guy wanted access to my computer, but since NO-ONE but me fiddles around with my computer (security y'know), he said he send me an email with instructions... an email I'm STILL waiting on....

So now I'm turning to you guys and gals in the Norton Community for a solution, that I hope isn't uninstalling/re-installing Norton Security.

Yes, I checked both Thunderbird and on-line. Nada...

And if you are using Windows 8 or 10, try turning off the Fast Startup feature, and restarting your computer. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Fast Start feature.. See more information here.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Thanks for reporting in Norton Community Forums. Can you please try reactivating subscription by Help -> Enter Product Key and let us know the issue status?

Hi @Sunil_GA,

The same happens when I try Help -> Enter, "Cannot connect with the Norton Server...."

I had the same problem with my old computer (with Windows 10 Home) and without me doing a thing, I was suddenly able to Sign in. But with this one (with Windows 10 Pro) I still get that damn message... very annoying
