Norton Chat has an option at the top of the window to enter and email address to revive a transcript of the chat. I have complete this in several chats, including one today, but have never received a transcript.
fwiw ~ At the bottom of the Chat windows before you close and after you prompt for email of Chat. Do you find ~ info: Your chat transcript will be sent to xxxxxatxxxxdotxxx at the end of your chat.

I imagine if you noted session ID. You may be able to request emailing. Even without session ID. Chat should be able to find your records and re/send email Chat session(s). Maybe?
I get no such message at the end of the chat.
All I can comment is...with that message at the end...email Chat session arrives within < 1min
