Chrome 43 and Norton Toolbar - "block" page not appearing; unsupported plugin error

Hi everyone,

We're seeing a compatibility issue between the Norton Toolbar and the recently released Chrome 43. Specifically, when a customer visits a page that is blocked the Norton Toolbar, an error message appears at the top of the page. This message only appears the first time a blocked page is accessed during that browser session: 

"This site uses a plugin ({0c55c096-0f1d-4f28-aaa2-85ef591126e7}) that is unsupported". 

This will be shown for all the different types of "blocked" pages – for a website rated as UNSAFE by Norton SafeWeb, a Norton Antiphishing detection, or a Scam Insight detection. However, it will only be shown for the first "blocked" site visited during a Chrome 43 browser session. If Chrome is closed then relaunched, and a Blocked page is visited again, the error message will appear again.

We are working to resolve this issue. As you can see from the screenshot, the toolbar continues to show the "This page is unsafe" message for the page, to warn customers. I will update this thread with more information as it becomes available.

This compatibility issue is now fixed.
