Re: Chrome 65 update: disappeared Norton toolbar

The promised follow up to my last, using Internet Explorer. The "Add Reply" function is still only showing a basic Comment box, with no option buttons for Quotes, etc. Again, this post leaves me with three separate paragraphs.

Re: Chrome 65 update: disappeared Norton toolbar

The other thing I've just realized is that all I'm seeing as I enter a post is a basic Comment box - there are none of usual option buttons displayed above it. To check I will follow this post with one using IE. (Note: as entered, this post has three paragraphs.)

The basic edit box issue is usually solved by restarting the browser, or refreshing the page. That is why I suggested restarting the browser. Did you do that before this post?

We will wait until you can try a post in IE as a test.

Re: Chrome 65 update: disappeared Norton toolbar

I see you IE test now again as a single paragraph.

I am not seeing this, so not sure what can be going on with your system.

Try clearing your browser's cache and then restart to see if that helps.

Re: Chrome 65 update: disappeared Norton toolbar

Although the IE test pretty much ruled out any issues with the Chrome browser cache, I have now cleared the cache and restarted Chrome. (Between the posts I entered yesterday and those from today, I had not only restarted the browser but also rebooted the PC.) I'm still only getting a basic Comment box with no option buttons. Refreshing the page does not change that.

Re: Chrome 65 update: disappeared Norton toolbar

Hello kenci

Have you tried a remove and reinstall of your Norton product? Perhaps a fresh install will fix your issue.

www.norton.com/nrnr  Please run Live Update until no more updates are available restarting as necessary. Also please back up your Identity vault as a precaution. You can find a fresh copy of the program in your Norton Account.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.
