Chrome will not load Norton extensions after installing Norton 360.
try > run Norton LiveUpdate until no updates + machine Restart (not Shut down). Repeat.

Thanks for the quick response! However, that does not solve my specific issue.
Your link takes me to a Norton web site that directs me to the Chrome Web Store to install the "Norton Safe Search". I had Norton Safe Search installed prior to my Norton upgrade to 360. While on Norton Safe Web it says: " This item has been disabled in Chrome. Enable this item". When I click on Enable this item, the web page repaints, and I still get the message: "This item has been disabled in Chrome. Enable this item".
What error message are you getting?
What extension(s) are you trying to install?
Are you installing from Chrome's Extensions feature or from your Norton 360?
What Norton extension are you trying to install.
Maybe, remove and reinstall Norton extension.
Well, I tried the following and it resolved my issue.
I went to Windows 10 - settings - Apps and changed the default browser to Edge. The 360 extensions worked on Edge. Went back to Chrome by changing the default browser to Chrome. Back to the problem I had - no Norton extensions would load on Chrome.
Change my default browser back to Edge.
I did a Restart on Windows 10.
Changed the default browser to Chrome.
All is well now.
Maybe it was just the restart that did it...
Thank you to bjm_ and peterweb for the quick responses to help me out!!!!
You are welcome.
Glad you found a solution. My guess is it was the system restart getting everything in line again.
