Clicked a link that turned out to be sketchy now i cant scan

I clicked a link today and when it sent me to the page it was blank and it kept saying on the site what it as doing and when i was reading it, it seemed really sketchy. So i closed it immediately and am now trying to run a full scan. I click run full system scan but after a few seconds it shows it was succesful in updates and all of that, but the scan failed and couldnt be completed. Also my computer runs slower than usual now. I REALLY need to scan because i feel like i may have gotten something from the site. please help

Re: Clicked a link that turned out to be sketchy now i cant scan

Hello cpiper1819

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

Can you run live update and try running a quick scan? I would then recommend that you go to one of the free malware removal Forums. They will work with you  on a 1 to 1 basis until your computer is clean. Please do not try any fixes you may find on the net on your own. Here's the list.

Please see this link for an up to date description of these sites plus the addition of a newly listed site formed by one of our successful malware remover users. The new site is listed first in this link.

Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks.
