Commissioning a Windows 10 Laptop

Hi there !

I read that NS has problems with Windows 10 'Quick Start'.
Questions:- Should I disable 'Quick Start', just for the installation ?
                   Should I permanently disable 'Quick Start', for NS to function ?
                   Any other things to know about NS & Windows 10 ?

It is not just NS that has issues with the Windows Fast Startup feature. Any program that is trying to update running system files needs to have a complete shutdown to get fully updated. 

No need to disable just for installation of NS. And you can keep it enabled as long as you understand how it works. If you use the Windows Restart  option instead of Shut Down and start up again, that will get your full shutdown. Doing this every few days will ensure your programs do get fully updated.

If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
