Hi,
Which products and how 'safe' is safe?

If you have not had any conflicts between the products then I guess they are OK together. I try not to have more than one product of any type running at any one time. Keeps my troubleshooting problems a bit more manageable

Re: couple of online banking questions?

Hi tomdy2k,

Identity Safe is not directly comparable to sandboxing a browser.  Sandboxing prevents possible malicious code from running outside the browser and infecting your system.  Identity Safe is a password manager, which helps to prevent keylogging programs from seeing your passwords, and also prevents your credentials from being mistakenly entered into any sites other than the legitimate sites that you actually intend to log into.  There shouldn't be any problem switching between LastPass and Identity Safe, but there are some considerations you should take into account.  While password managers are well-secured, in a strict sense the more password storage locations you use, the higher your potential exposure risk - you really want to limit the number of places on the internet where your sensitive information is stored in order to keep your "attack surface" to a minimum.

Re: couple of online banking questions?

Hi Tom,

Adding to the posts from other GURU's, using Identity safe not only helps you in saving the passwords but you are also protected from the Malicious and other Fraudulent sites and you are also provided with an option to surf safely wtih the site safety icons showing the rating of the the sites before even you browse to them. And its definitely not a kind of security product which uses sandboxed browser. Using two passwords managers will always create confusion at times with the pop-ups and info-bars coming from the two different products Its always better to evaluate them one after the other and stick to the ones which provides you additional fucntionalaties and solving the purpose better.

Prasanna

Gee, IMO would think that having both co-existing like that would really "studder" the handshake.
