Decrypt virus issue

My PC has been attacked by the virus issue since yesterday. Hopefully, Norton blocked all the attack attempts. But I don't know why this afternoon, the attacker used some tools running my PC, and it seems the virus already spread on my system. The "Decrypt_instruction" links and files are created everywhere!!!

I noticed that the virus doesn't encrypt my important documents. And I already delete all the "Decrypt_instruction" links and files. Norton checked and deleted a high risk .exe file. So, I am just wondering what should I do next to make sure my system is safe. Unfortunately, my last back up is three month ago. My most of important documents are created around this two months.

Re: Decrypt virus issue

I would suggest copying your important documents that are not backed up into a safe location outside that system.

Use a flash drive, external drive, online storage, or even email them all to yourself.

Re: Decrypt virus issue

Thank you Dave,

I copy all my document already. Can this virus infect my other documents again?( I mean computer virus which may like a real world  virus could get a secondary infection by some ways. ) Or the attacker can invade my PC again.

Users are not to do this with an already Ransomcrypt infected system using drives
