Device List Shows Different Names Than Services List

My Norton Security shows different names listed in the "Devices" list than in the "Services" list. Does anyone know of anyway to reconcile these? I'm unable to identify which device is which under the Devices tab, but under the Services tab it uses the name I've assigned to my devices. Devices also only lists three and Services lists the four devices I use. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Device List Shows Different Names Than Services List

If you open Norton and click on Help > About, it should show the name Norton has given each machine.  You can then change the name to what ever you like at http://manage.norton.com.

So I clicked on Help. Got a list of options. About was not among them. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Hello Kevin

About is listed under Help which is on the main page of Norton Security. It is listed under the category General Information on the right site.

Thanks.

Re: Device List Shows Different Names Than Services List

When I do that I get "Not Available" after the device name (on all 14 of my devices). Also, the licenses do not show when they were installed in the manage devices list. If I could at least see that I would be able to track a few of them down. I spend over $300/year in licenses and I can not tell who has them. I have tried to work with norton support before and after 2 weeks of e-mails back and forth all they said was uninstall them all, and then rename them as I reinstall.  That is not acceptable.

Is there a port that needs to be open on the firewall to allow the PC to send it's name to the norton server?

Make sure you have Remote Management enabled in Administrative Settings.
