Device Name Not Available

Hello.

Since the NS update to 22.14.0.54, on the About screen, my device name is displaying as "Not Available".

See attached screen shot.

Will this affect my subscription status at all?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Please check to see that Remote Management is turned on in that computer. Remember to use a Windows Administrator Account.

To see if your Account status is correct, go to Help>Subscription Status.

Thanks for the suggestion.

My subscription status is accurate despite device name not available.

Also, I have another computer running Windows 10 (this one is windows 8.1), that also does not have Remote Access enabled and the device name is displayed in the NS About screen.

Possibly a bug?

Have you restarted your computer a few times since the Norton update? Not shutdown and start up again. Although it is not supposed to be necessary with Win 10 or 8, it sometimes helps to fully settle the new Norton version. 

If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Fast Start feature.. See more information here.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
