Different price

Could someone please explain me why the N.Security Deluxe in official page is offered at $49.99$ (i.e. € 46.56) while the same (?) product in the Greek page is offered at 39,99 €.

Am I missing something?

Many thanks

Re: Different price

Hi, Thanasis. Deals are often offered in different regions, and it's worth shopping around to take advantage of the best price.

By buying from reputable retailers either online or shopfronts, you can save big time over Norton's renewal service prices.

You can either wait until a day or so before your sub expires, or activate the product with the key they provide and ask Support if they will add the existing days to your new subscription.   http://norton.com/chat

Re: Different price

Just some additional info:

Welcome to the wonderful world of marketing.

Symantec sells its products directly and through retail partners. Part of the agreement with those partners is that Symantec will not undercut the pricing of these partners. The partners in turn are free to set the price at whatever level they are comfortable with for their profit margins.

The price for a subscription Renewal is often more expensive and reflects a "Convenience Fee" for those that do not want to spend time searching for lower pricing, or risk forgetting to renew the subscription and risk losing their security protection.

This has been discussed many times on these forums, so Symantec is aware of the users concerns.

Re: Different price

Also you need to be careful purchasing your product from a different country than where you will be using the product. Norton has put geographic locks on their product keys, and you may not be able to use the key in your country.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
