Easily Block All Internet Access?

For testing purposes, I need sometimes to block all Internet access from my computer.

I can of course do this simply by unplugging the power from the router.

But then my wife can't do what she needs to do with her devices.

Is there a way to configure the NS firewall to block all Internet access?

I seem to remember dimly from ages past using a firewall that had a simple command, something like 'Block All'. But I've not been able to find the equivalent in the NS firewall settings.

I've tried doing that from the router, but it won't let me shut down access of my computer, as it's the controller for the router.

Re: Easily Block All Internet Access?

Yes, ages past "Block All".

Maybe, your router has built-in access control....for example:

Thanks.

I'd not thought about disabling the network adapter.

If you really want an easy way to stop all traffic, without having to click through multiple settings each time, you could put one of these together.

Re: Easily Block All Internet Access?

I use this little app called InternetOff.  I can easily turn off internet access to just my pc for any reason and an icon stays in the system tray.  its pretty handy to have.
