I understand Norton may block VOIP programs. I am trying to enable Echolink "a amateur radio application" to run on my PC. I  opened ports 5198 -5200 on my router. When I do this it will not work so is Norton blocking this and if so what do I need to do in Norton?

Re: echolink

Works OK for me and I do not remember having to do anything to Norton. Could it be an MS firewall? Have you tried connecting to the Echolink TEST server? Just go to the STATION tab and Connect to the Test Server

. Mine works fine, but if I try Tools-Firewall Test it NEVER works and says it fails. The important thing is that it does work.

If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!
