Email address not added to my Blocked List when I flag it as spam

I am using Windows 10 and MS Outlook in MS Office 365 version 1708.

My setting for "Add senders of email reclassified as Spam to Blocked List" is set to "Always".
I keep getting emails from nicole.piscopo@patriotconsulting.com. This email address is not added to my Blocked List when I flag it as spam. Why not. This functionality works with most emails that I reclassify as spam.
This email address is not in my Address Book Exclusions, my Allowed List nor my outlook contacts.
I have now manually added this email address to my Blocked List but I would like to know if there is anything that I am doing wrong that has kept the standard functionality from working on this email address.
Thanks,
Gar Taylor

Often it’s due to a slight difference in the email address which you may not have noticed.
If adding the address manually doesn’t work then try just adding the bit after the @ to block the domain.

Thanks for your response.

So if I create a Blocked List entry called Patriot and use @patriotconsulting.com for the address, any sender from that domain will be moved to junk mail?

I have made that entry and another with a dash which is another address they use. I hope this eliminates all of their emails.

I am detail oriented and I don't think there was a slight difference that I didn't notice. So I have set my preference to "Ask Me" to see if I can get more information on what is going into the Blocked List.

Thanks.

The sender’s mail in the ‘from’ may be the same but the actual sending email may differ slightly, check the email header information if you can.

I hope my suggestion helps, if not post back. :)
