Evidence to suggest that writemyessay4me.org is using a fake Norton Seal.

Well, whilst perusing this questionable site, i found the following:

Meanwhile, on a legit site,-

Another aspect that troubles me (outside the obvious that this site facilitates cheating) is that even if you submit a paper to them for just "proofreading", what is to stop them from making a copy of your paper and then using parts (or the whole thing) for other people who might be writing a paper on a similar/ same topic?

Hello H B

I will bring this to the attention of someone, not sure if Safe Web are the ones who should see this.

Hi Flo,

Thanks for your reply.  Believe it or not, the site is NOT tested in Safe Web as of this point, however, given the nature of this, perhaps Norton should at least issue the caution exclamation point:

Hello H B

The Caution is given out by Safe Web after a site is tested according to what is found on the site after being evaluated.

The 'fake Norton seal' is just an image on the page. I do not believe Safe Web looks at images when scanning the page, unless there is a link associated with it. As you note in your post, that seal image has no link associated with it.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Hello Peter,

You explain,

"The 'fake Norton seal' is just an image on the page."

I guess the deeper concern is, if they are that brazen to illegitimately place a Norton Trust Seal on their page, committing fraud against Symantec, God only knows the full extent of their corruption and perhaps why Norton should seek to issue the cautionary exclamation point for now.  We don't want people getting conned, thinking that Symantec in backing up this site, when in reality, it is not
