Facebook is a Fruadulent Web Page and is being blocked.

This message comes up when Facebook has been on for about 10 seconds.  This is also happening with Trip Advisor.  What is the cure as the report on these sites comes up safe.

This was reported earlier.  Run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available. That should clear the blocks.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

I read that earlier, and had tried it until Norton came up with Update Finished - no updates found, and still, it blocks Facebook after 10 - 15 seconds.  Thanks for your suggestion though.  Perhaps Norton needs to get some more patches out.

I continue to see this pop up with sites, other than Facebook as well.  Accuweather (checking for Cape May, NJ) among others.

Any chance you are using a VPN product? If so, check the virtual location being used.

Not unless Norton provides it...sadly, I'm not that computer literate, so I think I answered that correctly.  I did use the Norton bundle ~ (Norton & LifeLock for the first time)...could that be the issue?  Seems to be better, (haven't had a pop-up for a few hours now, where before they were every few seconds!) since I followed some of the other's advice!  Thank you!  Will keep it in mind...

It is not included with your Norton products and it is not connected in any way to LifeLock. It is an additional feature you can download to help protect your Wifi connections from being snooped on when using unsecured wifi connections. Such as at the coffee shop. It can also be used to make it look like your are in a different geographic location/country.

The problem seems to be fixed here too ! I'd like to add this has been something that was produced on Norton s end I hired them by buying their product , to care of problem not produce them ! and I'm not a computer guru. so when asked by Norten to unload a cache and and other things , I don't know how to do this . a very disturbing event !
