Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

I don't seem to be able to get Norton Identity safe to run under Firefox 49.0.1 when Noscript is enabled. If I disable Noscript Norton Identity Safe runs perfectly. I presume that I need to adjust my settings for Noscript. From previous threads here a number of people are running Firefox and Noscript, can anyone help me with the Noscript options?

OK, I tried the workaround given in that article, but it didn't help. Perhaps I should explain my problem a little better.

When I click on the Identity Safe icon on The toolbar I get the option to open my online vault. However when I click this, I get a new tab which just sits there with whirling dots. I don't get the option to enter my vault password. If, however, I disable Noscript fully I do get the option to enter my vault password and my logins are available as needed.

I hope this explains my problem a little better.

I tried enabling Google Analytics but still nothing worked. I am beginning to regret trying out Firefox, but IE 11 was starting to bug me.

I'll try enabling more Google scripts, yes, I do run Adblockplus. I appreciate that the add-on is experimental and that I cannot expect perfect performance, I was just hoping that someone would be able to help. Perhaps I'll give up with Firefox until the experiment is complete.

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

I have enabled all the Google scripts I could find and I tried disabling Adblockplus completely, still no joy. Thanks for all your help but I think I will have to give up with Firefox.

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

I am not running with EasyPrivacy, the only filter I use is EasyList. And I really don't want to defeat the purpose of Noscript by enabling every script known to man, but I will test your suggestion.

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

I have tried enabling scripts globally and I disabled Adblockplus totally. Still no luck. I have had a look on the Noscript web site and found that this is a known problem there. At a cursory glance it would appear that the problem might be solved in FF 50, so I will wait for that to come out as non-beta and try again.

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

Just to confirm: I installed FF 50 today (Official release), and now Norton Identity Safe and NoScript are working happily together. Edit: Also Adblock Plus Easy Privacy no longer seems to be a problem.

Sadly, it still does not work in FF 49.0.2 for me.

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

Could I suggest an upgrade to FF 50.0?

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 x64, Norton Identity Safe and Noscript

Just got FF 50.0 32 bit and the new extension does work with the Ad Block Plus Easy Privacy filter. Something is going in the right direction.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

It's still not working on FF50 for me.  I just get a blank white drop-down when I click on the icon.  Previously I could at least get to the sign in page
