Re: Firefox and id safe

The FF extension should not be affecting any other toolbar functions.

Sounds like a setting for the Yahoo search bar. Try right clicking on it to see if there are any settings you can access.

Re: Firefox and id safe

Try uninstalling the ID Safe extension, restarting your computer, then reinstall the FF extension. Then test. If you still see the problem, try uninstalling the Yahoo Toolbar, restart, reinstall and test.

Re: Firefox and id safe

Completely unstable

It work for 2 or 3 login, but after present blank input for existing login.

If i go in same session under IE, it work, as with IE the Identity safe is well working.

Firefox plugin does not work

It is still a pre release version as noted on the Mozilla Add Ons page.

@azara50:

  • my homepage on my laptop is Yahoo ... the Yahoo search bar

Personally, making changes to Norton's items does not help U out. Then, have you:

  • checked Firefox's Extension section, "Manage Search Settings" and removed any other Yahoo!-related items there?
  • tried resetting your web tools (only when you've exported your bookmarks)?
  • removed any other unused/unknown apps/software from your programs list under Control Panel?

Because the said Yahoo! Toolbar could be frequently installed as an extra offer during some sponsored download. For case studies, you may review the express install of Total Defense, WinRAR (as attached below).

Please head over to Norton Virus Protection Promise here if you still have trouble ridding of the said bar. And most importantly, you learn how to keep PUPs at bay.
