Free Norton Identity Safe works bad

At home i'm using Norton Identity Safe with Norton 360.

At work i'm using the free downloadable Norton Identity Safe.

At home it's working fine.

At work it's af mess.

Often it's not responding to fill in the information eventhough i'm logged in.

Often the toolbar button is closed eventhough i'm logged in.

Hi, Nees. Try downloading a fresh copy, and overinstall it. See if that fixes it.

I've justed installed a fresh copy last week on my new laptop.

If you have an IT person at work it might be best to talk with them, as the home version seems to be ok.

At home i'm using NIS from Norton 360.

At work i'm using NIS free version.

Re: Free Norton Identity Safe works bad

The FREE product is the same as what is included in the NIS and N360 products, although you could check to see which version/build you are running and compare them. For example, your work copy could need to be updated and/or need a reboot.

Curious what versions you are running-- my guess is the N360 version is actually older.

And if you are using the same browser at home vs. at work.

If they are the same builds, there could be something at your office that is keeping it from working correctly.

Re: Free Norton Identity Safe works bad

In IE go to Tools -> Internet Options  and click on the Advanced Tab.

The scroll down and uncheck Enable Enhanced Protectdc Mode.

As I understand it, this turns off 64 bit support in IE 11 and switches to 32 bit mode.

Close and restart IE 11. You shoul have Norton Identity Safe working.

Why doesn't Norton support IE 64 bit?
