furious over username & local vs internet

I have been using the 'vault' with maybe one problem over a year ago and haven't had that many issues. I have been using my laptop and just started using my desktop again. I use the VAULT for both my PC's and just also started having issues. I can't log in to my internet shared vault and I am just furious withthis application.

I have been using it for a while and rely on this to save all my usernames and passwords and feel that I now have to save in aseperate excel file all of my usernames and passwords cause I can't log into this application. Nothing has changed with the exception of my ISP and now I can't log in. I have tried everything I know but still cant access my online account in the Vault.

Makes me think that this is a reoccuring issue when I change the ISP and may need to find an alternet basic list like Excel.

Is there any recourse or an I out of luck?

I would prefer to take this out of the forum if I can get this resolved.

I submitted my question to the help-desk as limited as I could with only 255 characters but no reply at all.

I got more reply from the forum.

I am still out of usage of the vault after saving every page that I needed passwords with for over a year.

It is very aggravating to use the online vault and then get the local vault when I am not asking for that vault as well.

I only use the online vault as I have a laptop & desktop and want the versatility as described.

But when my usual passwords & username won't work I feel like a hostage.

Btw- the link you posted ending with "chat" is anything but chat. Chat is usually a two way conversation using an online medium. The link brought me to a request for information static but definitely not dynamic as a "chat" should be.

The first two webpages do ask for information from you but in my experience once you fill in the nature of the problem box you get a 2 way "conversation" via the computer keyboard -- although that may be an option you choose now from keyboard, phone email since it's a while since I used it.

Part of the information is to direct you to the regional support if only for language purposes and also to specialized support according to the category you select -- no point sending you to a technical support team for the product if what you need is someone with access to the activation database .....

Are you able to sign into your Identity Safe Vault at    https://identitysafe.norton.com/

This will identify whether your problem is with your PC's or with the online vault.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
