Get information from command like

Hello,

I have Norton Security installed on several machines with Windows. Is there any possibility to get information about it from command line? I need to get product version, definitions date and product expiration. If there is possibility how to get a product key (not needed full, just as a reference, for example last 5 digits) it would be great. The best would be if it is doable from powershell.

Hello

You want to know how to get a product key? You buy the program. It comes with a product key. All this information is on your Norton product if you own a Norton product.

Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.17.3.50 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

Re: Get information from command like

Hello, we definitely bought the program. As there are more computers on our net, I want to have some overview about current status and I need it automated (go to every PC and manually click on the program to get those information is really not a solution). The AV program is just part of it. And as I have written the PN (or part of the PN, it is just for a reference) is bonus, but not needed, the other is the main goal.

Re: Get information from command like

This kind of functionality is not available in a security product aimed at home users. You would have to look into a business/enterprise product. If you look at solutions at symantec.com, you might find one that can gather that kind of information from the Norton products you already have.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

That is quite unbelievable in these days. I am able to get such information about Windows system or Office nevertheless it is Home or Professional edition. Well then we will have to choose some different solution from other vendor, fotunately there are other options.

You may be able to get that information for Windows or other Microsoft software. I'm not sure how many other software developers would include that kind of functionality for a consumer based product.

You can get most of the information you are looking for by logging into Norton Management at  https://manage.norton.com You will need the Norton Account email and password used to register the products. If you only have one product key and you have all computers set to automatically update the Norton product they will all, have the same key and expiry.

Re: Get information from command like

Yes, I know that I can see it on the web, but I know only that the product was registered for some computer. But for example if the AV program is uninstalled or somehow corrupted afterwards, this information is not shown on the web - so even if the information is on the web, it does not mean that it is so on that PC. Moreover I wanted something that can be automated.
