google search

I am using Win 7 Pro.  I use Google searches in IE11and the Norton safe site tags appear nicely.  I need to change to Mozilla Firefox 63.0.3 and still use Google.  I cannot get the safe site tags to appear.  I get no tags. For example, when I search for VB6 calendar functions, in IE11 in Google Norton displays a red x.  In Firefox and google I get no warning.

Any suggestions

Thanks

Re: google search

Hi FrustratedByNor:

Unfortunately, Norton Safe Web for Firefox no longer displays site rating icons in Google search results.

Norton Safe Web v3.x for Firefox (currently v3.3.1.4) can be downloaded from the Mozilla add-on store at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/norton-safe-web/.  This browser extension is compatible with FF v48 and higher, but you will only see Safe Web site rating icons in your search results if you use the bundled Norton Safe Search (i.e. the Ask.com search engine - see my image below for an older Norton Safe Web v2.x extension) instead of Google search.

See Kiraly's thread Norton Toolbar in Firefox for more information.

Re: google search

You can use Chrome browser and the Google search results still display the Safe Web icons.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: google search

Hello

If you use the current Safe Web with the current Firefox, the Safe Web Annotations will not work when using Google search.
