Gradual functionality degradation of Norton Password manager ???

Has anyone noticed this about Norton Password Manager?

  1. It seems as if the number of websites where "Password Manager CAN fill your User ID and Password fields is decreasing".
  2. Websites that allow Password Manager to work without problems is Operating System Platform dependent.  (In the examples below, notice that the two example URL's work without problem on only one platform.)

To date, I have failed to find an action that corrects any of this.  I keep my internet browser, browser extensions, operating systems, and Norton Password Manager up to date.  I have experimented with different settings, etc.

Though I provided only two example URL's, there are many other websites that have the same characteristics.

I would appreciate any words of wisdom anyone has to offer on my observations.

Examples:

Windows 10 Platform

    • The "Dish website login" no longer allows Password Manager to fill the User Id and Password fields when you click on the credentials icon that Password Manager offers for that page.
    • Clicking on the offered credentials icon just causes it to disappear, the User Id and Password fields remain blank, and the web page icon, "Login" greys out (normal when you have not entered any credentials).
    • No error message is ever presented.  In fact, the browser indicates no activity at all on its status bar.
    • The successful work around solution is to manually copy the User Id and Password from Password Manager and paste them into the appropriate field.  However, I am concerned that other applications can read your "Clipboard", which would compromise your User Id and Password if you fail to delete your clipboard contents.

    • On the Windows 10 platform, this website allows Password Manager to work as advertised, no problems at all.

Android Platform

    • On the Android platform, this website allows Password Manager to work as advertised, no problems at all.

    • The "My John Deere website login" does not allow Password Manager to present the credentials icon.  Therefore, you have nothing to click on to fill the User Id and Password fields.
    • This is true even if you get to the website by opening Password Manager and selecting the "My John Deer" login.
