Help language in the product

Hello.

When you call the help from a window of the product (question mark) certificate opens in another language.

For Example

Must be Russian language. But opens in English

It does not help. I'm talking about is called a help from the window of the product itself.
Moderators have not yet checked my screenshots. Then it will be clear.

 I just realized that at the beginning of my previous post  I'd not included:

Hi Black Angel,

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums .

I’m still using NIS therefore I’m not sure if the following applies to NS as well.

In NIS, most  windows show Help at top right-hand side

Click on it and it will show one or two options: Help or Help and Get Support.  Click Help, a KB page will open, on top right side, click on the language.  

(English in the above capture), a list of foreign languages will appear, and you can choose which one you want the text be shown:

 I understand what you mean but I don't know if you can get the page in ru directly so please wait for other users' replies.

Here the question to the developers and web designers.

In the first release NS was the Russian language in this situation.

Black Angel, what Rainbow_2 shows in her image is the exact same thing that appears when selecting the question mark with on the Security History Page as in your image.  The Sign in, Language and Contact us are also at the top of that page.  What I do not see however is Russian in the drop down containing the languages.  Perhaps the "Contact Us" is the way to go - it will take you to Norton Live Chat.

I can view your Images in the Reply Editor and see part Russian and part English.

 Yank, re my above Global Support image I believe Russian is Pyсский, the fourteenth listed in "Europe", before Spanish (EMEA).

Thanks Rainbow_2.  I have selected what you suggested, as well as other languages and it appears only certain parts of support change to the selected language - the remainder of the Support page remains in English.

I have also gone to the top part of this page (where it says English on mine), and changed to a different language and main pat of the posts remain in English - although Reply, Flag etc do change to the selected language.

I am curious if anyone else has a version of Norton installed other than English, who can go to Security History and Click on the question mark and see if there Support is primarily also in English?  In the language of their Norton product and is changeable via the drop down?

We know that NS when it first came out, everything was translated to Russian or what ever language was needed. We are trying to find out if the newer versions were completely translated to Russian and the other languages. To do that, we need to find another person who has the program in another language and see if it is completely translated.

Hi all,

I confirm what flo says. Translations have not yet been carried out. I am using NS Italian, clicking Help I get the same results as the OP. Titles are in Italian while the content is almost always in English.

A quick update, Black Angel.  The Norton concerned team have been informed of the issue and are going to look into it.

We will let you know more when they tell us or they could post here in your thread directly - no deadline, though.

I have just heard from Norton that the issue has been fixed and hopefully everything should be fine by tomorrow morning.

The issue seems solved. Clicking on Help, the support pages are now shown on appropriate languages.

I'm glad your issue has been fixed. Thank you also for bringing this problem to our attention. Please mark the post which solved the problem for you so that others who have this problem will know that it is fixed. Thanks to the others who tested out to help find and pinpoint the problem. I assume some sort of file came thru to everyone so that this problem got fixed.
