How to do a cloud backup of folders on drive D

I started to configure the Cloud Backup option within Norton Security. However, what I want to do is backup selected folders on my Drive D (where I keep my data, with software on drive C), but I cannot find a way to do this.

I can do a backup by file type from Drive D, but that's not what I want. And in the default setup I can backup up folders on drive C, but again that's not what I want.

I imagine my set up is a fairly common one - software on Drive C, and data files on drive D - so I guess I can't be alone in having this issue.

Has anyone found a way to do this ?

Hello Joe, have a look into your settings for managing backup sets. Although my drive D: is removable media you should be able to click that drive and select the contents you want to add to the backup set.

Just re read the question and deleted my reply.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: How to do a cloud backup of folders on drive D

Thanks, guys for the help - I finally managed to do what I wanted, but I have to say that the interface is not very intuitive. By clicking on the "include folders" and "exclude folders" buttons, I managed to backup just those folders I needed. However, the first step is to exclude all drive C and drive D and then include only those folders on drive D that I wanted to backup. It took me several goes to work this out.

Peterweb - I have two physical drives C & D, which are both RAIDed, so I have plenty of protection against physical failure. But I also have real-time synchronization via the Cloud with my other 2 PCs; a daily backup to a NAS; and now a peridic backup to Norton (really just to protect against ransomware).

Once again, thanks for your help

You're most welcome. Glad we could help even if in a small way.
