How do I roll back Identity safe plugin for Firefox

Yes I know about the problem for Firefox 40-41-42 PLEASE do not link those threads.

I updated the Identity safe plugin for Firefox today. I already rolled back Firefox to version 39 to avoid all problems. Now the new plugins killed my identity safe on Firefox 39 as well.

The only answer I would like to see is how to I roll back the plugins or where can find the plugins archives to re-download the old version.

Thanks in advance !

Re: How do I roll back Identity safe plugin for Firefox

We recommend that you have the latest version of Norton Security or Norton Security with Backup or Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 installed, version 22.5.4.24. If you are not seeing the Norton Toolbar in Firefox 41 & 42, check that you are running NS, NSwB 22.5.4.24, NIS, N360, NAV 22.5.4.24. If not, please visit our Norton Update Center to receive the latest update.

You may need to run LiveUpdate and reboot a few times before your product is completely updated to the latest version. It will appear in the LiveUpdate history as Norton Toolbar Add-on for Firefox.

This new version has totally trashed what was a great product. I'm unable to use Norton wallet, nor a satisfactory version of Norton 360 tool bar. Please allow us to roll back this abomination.

I too lost my ID Safe access with the new Toolbar patch. I had stayed on FF 40 to keep my vault.

Norton - you have completely messed up this product.  We NEED to be able to roll back the Norton Toolbar version.  For a product that was expensive in the first place to actually make it unusable seems not a good sales ploy - can you PLEASE give a work around to roll back the toolbar version so that functionality can be returned until you sort out a patch for the latest firefox versions!

Re: How do I roll back Identity safe plugin for Firefox

bjm,  We understand why you recommend the latest version of the toolbar.  However, your answer is non-responsive to the question.  Is there a way to go back to the prior version where the toolbar had its full function?  We use toolbar as much for efficiency as we use it for the security.  We could have done the cut and paste process, previously when the toolbar stopped working with the upgrade in Firefox.  Instead we made a decision to wait, with an old version of Firefox, over a month now, because keeping the Identity Safe functions of supplying ID's and passwords is important, the new release has broken that.  We also know that other browsers are an alternative, but In our case, we have applications that run best in Firefox, so using an alternative browser is less than ideal.  We need as much security as we can get, without the burden having Identity Safe not functioning.  So if there is a way to go back to the prior toolbar we would prefer to have that option until the full function of the toolbar is restored for current versions of Firefox.
