Hi,

I want to find some useful logs in the Security History and only find that there are too many info about protecting my connection to a newly detected connection... to find the information i needed. So what can I do to make those info never show again in the Security History.

Thanks.

Hi, Mathilda.

As far as I can tell, you can neither delete old logs nor block new ones from being automatically generated.  You can, however, view the history of events based on the category that you select.  Alternatively, you can do a quick search for a specific type of logs.  See more info here https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v5187720_ns_r... and here https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v5187739_ns_r...?

Hello

If you don't let anyone use your computer, any information in those logs are or can be seen by Norton Employees only. You can choose not to look at the History Logs . Those logs are mainly for Symantec Employees. If you don't look at the History Logs, then you can't be bothered by them.

Thanks.

Hi, Mathilda. Further to what the others have said, as long as you keep Norton up to date, all is running smoothly, you have the settings how you want them, and you have the green tick in your system tray, then you're best to leave Norton to do its thing, and not get too hung up on what goes on in the background.

In the main, Norton is pretty much set and forget. FWIW, I never check History.

Hi,

I think you are right. There is no need wondering what's going on in the history. I will take your advice.

Thanks.
