I am repeatedly prompted to sign in to vault

Every time I close my browser (Chrome) and reopen it, I'm asked to sign back into my vault.  I followed the help steps from rebooting my computer (Windows 7, 64 bit) to signing out of my Norton account, signing back in and then signing into my vault.  Once I close that browser and reopen, I have to put in my password again (just to the vault, not the account.)  I'm at a loss as to how to fix this.  All help is appreciated.

Hello Katie. Unfortunately the vault signing out is by design and cannot be changed. Chrome can be allowed to run in the background after its closed but don't think that will affect how the vault closes or stays open. Look at your browser settings and select it. Let us know if the vault remains open or closes.

My son is a computer engineer for Microsoft. He has recommended a different anti-virus service provider, but I've hung on to Norton because Identity Safe made my life so much easier. Not anymore. If this isn't fixed by renewal, I'm probably moving to a different solution.

Your advice worked, SoulAsylum, thank you. Now my vault stays open between reboots. However, the fields do not auto-fill. I have to open the vault and retrieve usernames and passwords via copy and paste. Is this really how it's supposed to work? It's much easier to just forget the vault and type them in myself. I really, really dislike what Norton has done here.
