I have 2 licenses taken up by one computer

So I just realized that I am apparently paying for a 3 device plan of Norton and have come across something weird. I have two computers, my main desktop and my brand new laptop and for some reason according to Norton it says that I have two subscriptions claimed by my Desktop both showing that their install dats are less than a month apart. I would like to use the third subscription for my sister's new computer I'm going to be giving her for Christmas however I'm afraid that when I go to blindly remove the oldest dated subscription that I will not be able to take that and have it claimed by my sister's computer. So my question here is simple, If I choose to remove the oldest dated subscription (since I feel like that's the right choice here) will that subscription instantly become an available subscription that I can then use on a new computer? Or do I have to do some weird complicated on the phone with tech support transfer thingy?

You mention subscriptions. Are you referring to activations? If you have more than one active subscription, you should contact Norton Support and ask them to combine them, so you are not paying for multiple subscriptions at the same time.

If you are referring to activations, you can just open Norton on your computer and click on More Norton at the right. Then click on Add Devices. Then click Show me How. Then send an email link to your sister. She can install Norton on her computer by following the instructions in the email.

I’m talking about activations. It says that I activated 2 subscriptions on my desktop within a month of each other which means I have no more activations because between 2 computers all 3 activations are being used up some how. So how do I fix it so that I have just 1 activation on my desktop computer so I can give my 3rd activation to my sister. Do I just hit the remove button for the oldest subscription or do I some how transfer it?

If you are looking at the devices page in your Norton Account, that may not have the correct information. If you click on My Norton at the top of the Norton Account page, then click My Subscriptions, that should show the correct information on your activations. As long as you have one available, you can do as I suggested to send the copy to your sister.

If not,you can do as you suggested and remove one you know is not being used by your own devices. Remember, the activation count will include any mobile devices you may have protected by Norton.
