ID Safe save your logins

Today is June 15 2017 and IDSafe is working...finally. If you did not know, it is possible to save all your passwords from IDSafe in case it all goes to heck.

Open your Norton Security (the rectangle maybe that says "Security Identity Backup Performance More Norton".

Click on Identity it may say "Identity Safe, ID Settings, Statistics, Password Generator"

Click on Identity Safe. Up at the top it may say Import/Export. Click on that. Follow brief instructions to export your passwords to the folder/file you created on your desk top called passwords. When it says export is successful, close out all the Norton windows. Find the desktop folder/file and open it. Print all the passwords out. When you have the piece of paper printed, delete the folder/file from the desktop. Save the paper safely.

One important thing debs818 left out is to Export using the .csv format - the .dat format is encrypted and not readable.

It is still sad that we need to rely on a paper backup.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
