Identity Safe Icon Appears on Random Pages - Firefox

I activated Identity Safe this morning, and deactivated it (or attempted to) this afternoon, in part because the icon was appearing in random places on websites, over text I was attempting to read.

This is still happening, despite deactivating it in frustration, and then a system restart.  I'm using Windows 10 and Firefox 49.0.1.

Most recently it popped up in the middle of a "was this site useful" form here on Norton's own site.

This is very frustrating.

Re: Identity Safe Icon Appears on Random Pages - Firefox

I have reported this to Norton. What seems to be happening is that there is some input box on the page that ID Safe thinks you might want to fill in from the ID Safe. This was an issue in the past with the old Norton Toolbar ID Safe, where an input box at the bottom of a web page would move the page to the bottom automatically, trying to fill in the box for you. It was fixed in the earlier versions, and hopefully it will get resolved again for the new FF extension.

Hi I'm having the same problem at the moment with FF 52.0.2 - very frustrating!

I'll see if I can get someone to look at this again.

Can you give a couple of examples of the web sites where you see this?
