Identity Safe Problem

The auto fill function stops working after a while and the only way to get it to work is to restart my laptop.

I mainly use IE11  as some of the websites I use don't work in Chrome. The safe works fine in Chrome, but not in IE11.

Any ideas please?

Re: Identity Safe Problem

Hi Whalley77 and welcome to the forums,

First thing I would check is to see where you have your ID Safe Security settings set at.  If you have selected the Close Vault after XX minutes of inactivity, this could cause the vault to close - although I'm not sure why it wouldn't do it in Chrome?

Re: Identity Safe Problem

I have a problem logging into hotmail/live.  my identity safe login and password is overlaid over a hotmails wording.  this does not happen in chrome.  i am using 1.0.220

Night Fighter, It appears to me that these settings have no effect on the new toolbar and vault.

The OP refers to IE and Chrome. That is still the old Toolbar ID Safe.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

And what happens if you just click on Sign in? ID Safe is just auto filling the login, as it is designed to do.

If you do not want ID Safe to auto fill in login information, you can disable it. Click on the ID Safe icon and click Settings. Then uncheck Auto Fill Logins.
