Internet Explorer 9 hangs when booted with Norton toolbar running

I have IE9 with Vista and Norton 360.

Just recently IE has not always booted up, just hanging and difficult to close, but made it after several attempts.

Removed all add ons and could find nothing, because I trusted Norton Toolbar, stop laughing, and removed all BUT that.

Removing NT seems to now make IE work OK.

Any offers of what might be a solution, apart from not using IE and I thought i needed Nor ton TB with the nasties out there.

Hi,

Have you tried reloading the TB? Be sure to save your identity safe data first!

Thanks

Thanks but it came loaed with 360 so how do I reload it? I have dissabled it at present and no problems with IE loading, but the bar did help to keep nasties at bay.

Try this

First task, if you're using it is to save your identity safe data. As a backup save it in both formats. Then
www.Norton.com/nrnr

It's the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool. After rebooting be sure to run live update so that you are up to the minute
