Live update on startup.

Is there a setting somewhere in Norton Security (Windows 10) that will have the Live Update run when I start up the computer?  Right now, I manually run the thing first thing when I start up, but I'd rather it did it itself.

Re: Live update on startup.

Hi, AlohaNomad. AFAIK, there's no way to have Live Update run immediately on log on., other than to invoke it manually, which is what I do as soon as my desktop shows, so I have the latest definitions.

Norton will update automatically in a very short time after booting anyway, ( it checks hourly ) but really hitting Live Update manually is just as easy.

I normally see an Auto Live Update about 12 min after I boot. You can check your History and see what yours is doing.
