Mobile Unlock Settigs: Cant get rid of no longer existing phones

I now have 3 mobile phones (2 no longer exist) listed in the Mobile Unlock Settings screen of the Norton Password Manager.  ( I have no idea where the Manager's software version number can be found... Suffice it to say I just reinstalled the latest available - I think.  Norton is very sloppy about descernable version/release IDs from what I've experienced over the years). Anyway, how can I get rid of the two phones that no longer exist from being remembered by Norton?

Re: Mobile Unlock Settigs: Cant get rid of no longer existing phones

Have you tried going into the Mobile unlock settings and removing all devices? Then log out of your vault and Norton Account. Be sure you are logged into your vault on the mobile device, then log back into the vault from your browser extension and set up the Mobile Unlock again. See if the extra devices still appear.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Mobile Unlock Settigs: Cant get rid of no longer existing phones

PETERWEB: Thank you... and yes, I previously tried what you suggested and the extra (old) devices still appear as choices when I redid Norton Mobile Unlock setup.    I further experimented by changing the name of my iPhone and it showed up with its previous name (the one I changed it from - and the unlock worked) and not the new one.  Maybe Norton (sometimes?)  works off the phone number and not the actual name of the phone (which is what is displayed).  As it turns out, ALL my devices still displayed by Norton as selectable (and non-existing at this point) were replacements and shared the same historical phone number - the phones were upgrades over the years. hmmmmmm.
