My vault has ceased to work properly

I would like to know if anyone has experienced or knows how to fix the problem I'm having. I have 360 multi user on my  computer but for the last week my vault says setup vault but when I go to click on it says that system restart required. Well that doesn't work tried it and I can get to my vault through my acct online but on the toolbar it has ceased to work. HELP!!!!!! I'm horrible at remembering passwords for my accts and with a tumor hindering it sometimes make it very difficult to remember logins. So would really appreciate all the help I could get.

Welcome to  Norton Community,

Have you restarted your system after seeing the message " System restart Needed".

Could you provide product version( you can find it in N360 Main UI->Support->About?) and OS information.

After restart, if you face the issue again, Could you try running Live update repeatedly until it shows "no updates found" and restart whenever it requires.

If you read the thing correctly he says "that doesn't work" after he said it says "restart needed", which would imply he tried to restart. I have had the same issue for the last few days and after multiple restarts, shut downs and live updates it is still happening. Mine will sometimes show "setup needed" or "vault closed" after I just logged into it. I am running N.I.S. 2013 v. 20.3.0.36, Windows 8 Pro x64 and Norton Toolbar v. 2013.3.0.26, this is happening on IE 10 and Firefox 19.0.

Rebooting solves the problem

But this happens often - I think it's after logging off and back on again.  The norton 360 icon doesn't appear in the quick startup area.  But having to reboot is a pain - is there a fix for the initial issue?
